Highly recommend Newell Piano Studio. We have tried many piano teachers over the years, but this studio is truly the best! My child has grown so much here. The teacher is consistent, creative, and makes learning fun. She isn’t overly strict, but knows exactly how to motivate my child to practice in exciting and engaging ways. She chooses music my child actually wants to learn, which keeps him excited to play. Her encouragement and unique teaching style have made piano something my child genuinely looks forward to every week. Such a win!

Cristina is a wonderful piano teacher! She taught three of our children for about a year until we moved from Ohio. Our children consistently progressed from lesson to lesson, and Cristina went above and beyond to adjust to each of their needs individually. She has a highly detailed approach, which sets the students up for long term success. It was always so reassuring to see how she approached lessons with each age and experience level, adjusting appropriately for each of them. Our children grew in skill, and confidence after their time with her. I highly recommend Cristina to any and all who want to learn to play the piano.

Cristina’s ability to adapt her lessons to the learning style of my son while making sure he understood theory, technique, and style in addition to the instrument was amazing. She truly cares about her students and is a gifted musician. She is organized, kind, creative in her teaching style, and has by far been the best music teacher my son has had. These aren’t your average piano lessons. Cristina takes them to a whole new level! She goes above and beyond to make sure her students are receiving a well-rounded musical education through a variety of learning experiences, catered to how each individual child learns best. Games, tactile experiences, visuals - every single time I pick up my kids from their lesson, I am amazed by her dedication and creativity. And I am so pleased with the progress our kids have made in just a few short weeks. I feel like we stumbled on a gem in Cristina, and I am so grateful! I wholeheartedly recommend her!

Cristina is a fantastic teacher- she gets to know her students and how they learn best, offering numerous ways they can grow with their piano skills. She is creative in incentives to motivate practice, and keeps their interest in songs they are learning. She offers opportunities for them to share their growing talents through recitals and other performances. Most of all she is kind and patient with a desire to see her students succeed. My girls love learning piano and we couldn’t recommend Cristina more!
