WEEKLY LESSONS
Piano students thrive with weekly lessons and home practice incorporating what was learned. From private lessons to group classes, each lesson at Newell Piano Studio is carefully planned to help our students achieve their musical goals and make consistent progress.
Lessons are billed on a four-month semester basis containing 13 weeks of lessons. Tuition for the current semester is $410 per student. Tuition is reviewed annually and is subject to increase in future years. Tuition will be paid in four monthly installments of $102.50 using autopay via bank ACH or credit card via Stripe on the studio's Nova Music platform, with payments being deducted on the 1st of each month. IN-PERSON CLASSES
I teach in-person lessons in the Dayton, Ohio area. Lessons are held at my home studio on my Mason & Hamlin grand piano. I also have a Roland digital piano in the studio for group lessons/activities. Students who are waiting for a sibling during their lesson are encouraged to practice with headphones on the digital piano while they wait.
GROUP VS PRIVATE LESSONS
Our studio offers both private and group piano lessons. Each semester as scheduling allows, we launch a new beginner group class for children ages 7-10, alongside continuing group and one-on-one private lessons. Tuition is the same for both styles, but private lessons are 30 minutes and group lessons are 60 minutes. Many elementary students thrive in a group setting! Peer encouragement often leads to rapid progress and quicker learning.
